Weird, since I thought they where an Australian company. I wonder if it’s a government approval issue.

I keep it simple by insuring my aids are adjusted to the point I don’t need extra programs. It has worked for the most part with my INTENT1 aids. And knowing my audiologist it will work with the Spheres at he will adjust the autosense programs so I don’t have to make manual program changes. I use to be a control freak and geek but retirement has changed my thinking. I don’t have time for even thinking about my aids. And I don’t want to think about all the different possibilities.

I used my VPN to logon from Australia and still no joy for the FM121, but the FM120 is available on Amazon US and I think I would prefer that anyway.

That’s confusing… I chatted with someone from Avantree a few weeks ago, and IIRC she said that it would support LE Audio streaming from my PCs, assuming my Spheres were ready. Which they aren’t, so it’s all a bit theoretical at this point.
What’s the FMA-120? How many do I need?
Your Spheres can use Classic to stream from your PC, right?
For more info in the FMA 120, there is a dedicated thread on this forum, so just use the Search tool at the top right.

At three years your warranty is up, so they want to get you in new aids. You don’t need a “Reason” at that point. But if your hearing changes, or a new tech comes out which has promise to help you, particularly, then they can recommend new aids for you and it always seems to be approved.

I use Phonak Spheres and before that Phonak Marvels. I use a Pixel 7 (Android). I updated my Spheres to Ultra a week ago using Phonak Target and Noahlink Wireless 2. I spend about 12 hours a week on the phone and 6 to 8 hours a day streaming TV. I can count on one hand the number of unexplained phone connection drop outs. My Bluetooth seems to have been rock solid over years. The unexplained hang ups could have been easily on the other side of the conversation. My TV has never disconnected unless I walk outside, out of Bluetooth range. I use the Phonak TV link or what ever they call it now. Regarding the Sphere’s, I have never run out of battery.

when I went in for a hearing test and new Hearing aids, they discovered a problem with one of my aids and sent it in for repair and ordered a new mold for the other. My warranty was up last April. They are over 5 years old. It will be good to have them as a backup for my new Spheres when they come.

It is in my records that I must have up to date backup aids at all times. The and my audiologist is very good to me.
