Need Help Deciding on New Aids

Currently have a set of Jabra Pros from Costco, about 5 + years old. The right one has died so I am going to order a new pair in a week. Either the Jabra Enhance Pro 30 or the 9050 Phillips. Can anyone give their thoughts on which is better. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max and will be linking. By the way I dug out my old Kirland 6 and started using in my right ear when the Jabra died and I feel the K6 works better than the Jabra Pro!
I use to hang out her a lot a few years ago, looking forward to the responses.

The best answer is just try them. You have 180 days to get a refund if Costco can’t help you.

Please help me decide between Philips HearLink 9050 and Jabra Enhance Pro 30
Hi @Santa_Rosa_John, Difficult to give you any help without your audiogram. My experience is I did trial the Philips 9050 but returned them because I did not like the sound compared to my KS10’s, which to me is more open. I am going to trial the Jabra’s as the Costco audiologist told me quite a few of her customers had the same experience as me, and had switched to Jabra from Philips.

I don’t have an answer for you yet, but I will in a few weeks. I’ve been wearing the Jabra 30s for 3 weeks and will be ordering the 9050s on Friday for comparison. I tried both of them out at Costco with just first-fit programming and preferred the 9050s. Having the Jabra 30s programmed to my hearing after REM and with the JABRA suggested powerdomes made them much, much better, but I’m still disappointed in noisy situations, so I want to see what the 9050s are like when set up after my REM and w…

In case it is helpful, Jabra is made by the same company as Resound and appears to be the current Resound model. Phillips is by the same company as Oticon and tends to be a version behind. Sennheiser is thought by many to be the rebranded Phonak Lumity, a good hearing aid but a version behind the current Infinio. Starkey has just started providing a hearing aid to CostCo but I don’t recall its Costco name. Rexton is Signia. So all the premium hearing aid companies are represented but not always with their latest model. So very good hearing aids for the price.

I don’t know which of these companies made your version of Kirkland, as it changed over the years. The last hearing aids rebranded as Kirkland was by Phonak.

Found out the Kirkland 6s were made by GN ReSound as it was known then so basically the same company that makes the Jabra Pro 30

I purchased the Jabra Enhanced Pro about 2 months ago from Costco. I am pleased with them. I did have to have an audiologist refine the fitting.
