Need help stopping pop up adds and phone calls from changing Phonak levels

I have Phonak Spheres (love them) connected to my Iphone. At work I frequently put the HA’s on mute. But for some reason when ever I receive a phone call it turns the mic’s back on and sets the volume much higher than I had it set to when I muted them. It doesn’t matter if I have the phone on Silent Mode. The incoming call still turns off the mute and raises the volume very high. Surely there is some way to stop this but I have searched and can’t find it.

Another thing that I find extremely annoying is that when I open a web page if it has a popup add or any kind of audio inserted in the page it turns off the mic’s and defaults to the add or whatever audio is on the page and plays it very loud. And when I close the page and the mic’s are back on I find that the volume settings are changed from where they were and are jacked up very high. Is there a way to stop this switching off the mic’s and defaulting to whatever audio has popped up? Or at least to make it restore whatever volume settings I had on the Iphone before the popup?
