New forum lay out

So I'm sure most have seen/ used the new layout on hearingtracker, so far I'm really liking it, much easier to type on my mobile then before which was quite painful! can't wait to explore it some more, thanks @AbramBaileyAuD

I am reading this Forum on my iPad. For some reason, the text is now very large, with very large spacing. This makes scrolling up to see earlier posts quite an exercise. It seems I cannot make this smaller in my browser (Chrome). Is there any way (setting?) to get back to near what we had before?

I believe it's not set up for mobile.

It's really setup up for desktop.

It's really bad on Brave using my Pixel 10.

It's better on Firefox.

Ok so I am seeing something different that not so good, it's the email notifications, it's gone very basic, I can no longer read what has been posted, I now get just a simple link?

what I got before also I don't seem to be able to reduce the size of any images I post, I think we had 50% 75% as a choice before.

How to quote someones' part of post with info about him/her as an author? Marking sentences, and then clicking "Quote", as it was in the past, does not work...

Not necessarily. Some forums differ. I'm not offering a preference. You're really replying to the last person. The previous quote merely supplies context. Then it's how long to keep it quoting. You could end up with a whole conversation getting quoted. So no.

What I WOULD like :) is when using the reply in the post you're replying to (like I did here) that either the quote comes in on its own or you click the quotes button above in this toolbar and the quote comes in.
But not needed for the top or bottom reply buttons outside of the post.

The assumption is you're replying to the most recent post in the thread unless you see this note, which is added if you hit reply on a post that is higher up in the thread. I believe the old forum worked the same way. I think auto quoting on every response would get pretty noisy.

Thanks @Lour ... We actually had a very similar reaction from many people moving from vbulliten to the last forum, so this is understandable. I did try to make things as familiar as possible, but there's still work to be done as well.
