New forum username/display name

Hi,

Just wanted to check - when signing into the new forum, it said that the old account on the previous forum is moved here, but the password doesn't work.

After emailing us the link, it seemed to set up a new account, but it would not let me use my previous display name. Is this a known feature, or did I do something wrong? Do all previous accounts have to proceed with a different display name on the new forum?

The new sign in is very cumbersome for me. I have to go through multiple screens just to sign in every time. First it asks if I was a member of the old forum, then it offers to send me a one-time password. On that page in very small print is the sign in option. I have to go through this every time I sign in.

Is there anyone I should contact about this? Would prefer to be able to use my previous display name, rather than essentially have 2 accounts.
