New Philips 9050 First Thoughts

Well I picked up my new 9050’s a few days ago. Costco was great. So far mostly positive from them. The TV volume has dropped about a third and most things just sound clearer. I went outside the first day and heard a couple of birds loudly chirping. I muted the ’s and could barely hear the same birds… Never knew that I was missing it.

The small things that I need to get used to or somehow fix… The itching at times gets almost unbearable but will eventually go away. I assume I just need to get used to them. The other thing is the rustling I get periodically from my hair. I sort of brush it behind and that seems to mostly fix it. Just a matter of getting used to it I guess.

For the itching, a product called MicaCell works wonders. Here’s a link.

The rustling sound should be easily resolved by getting a f/up appt., and explaining the issue to your .
Or you could shave your head :grin:

Re itching–I usually apply the slightest possible smear of cream to the ear opening and that fixes it. Not too much or the won’t fit securely. Glad you’re liking your HA! Welcome to those who have made the discovery to “go ahead”!!! I swear by Costco, too–they’ve been great to me over the years.

Thanks for posting that, I just bought a pair from my Costco and I was able to test them in the store for a bit. I’ve been struggling with my Resounds for some time and I couldn’t believe the difference. Looking forward to next week when I get them fitted.
