Now, if I could just find where the Omega is able to be paired with Windows 11, I’d seriously consider these next time I order .

Since these new aids support Bluetooth , this should be possible as long as your PC’s Bluetooth module and driver (along with the audio driver) support that standard (most do).
These detailed instructions15 are well written and document the process.

I’m looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I have a Windows PC that supports it, and that don’t (Genesis ). And no spare change for switching out my HAs any time soon.

Not to be a killjoy, but the marketing guff on that page told me absolutely nothing at all, beyond a couple of voice activated features that the ’s will have enabled through the app. Honestly you could drop all that text on to any modern hearing aid and it would still ring true. Then again I supposed you could drop all the text of any modern hearing aid on to the page of any other modern hearing aid and about 95% of it would be true ![]()

I agree that most manufacturers churn out the same marketing fluff with very little differentiating information. It will be interesting to receive user feedback and to see test results from HearingTracker and others.
This product seems to build on the Edge AI3, and as such continues with the two chip design along with a very wearable size and form factor. Hopefully Matthew Allsop has received his testing units to compare the two.

This is what I now look for, I no longer bother with the fluff.

I agree, I didn’t see anything particularly exciting in the marketing material, just incremental improvements. Let’s see what our hearingtracker reviewers say when they get their hands on the devices

I don’t think it’s anything special for me, because I can have only one hearing aid and their seems to need fitting to reach its full potential. YMMV.

Some people can bend language to their will. From HearingTracker’s story on the Starkey Omega:
“It was also found to excel over all competing products by as much as 6.5 in speech-in-noise measures.”
In other words (I think), in the test most favourable to Starkey it exceeded its worst-performing competitor by 6.5Db. Each product launch from all all manufacturers seems to annoy me 5.2% more than the one before.
