Nuance glasses - Opinions and experiences

Hello:
It's been a while since the Nuance glasses were released. The price is down to $699 and, with my vision discounts and benefits, I can get them significantly cheaper.

I've only seen one review from @rfmparis . Has anyone else tried them/used them?
I tested them once and the sound was very robotic but, to be fair, I did not had the chance to calibrate them.

Thoughts/Comments?
(I've read the hearingtracker reviews, YouTube reviews, etc. I'm more interested in user experiences).
