Nucleus 7 Coil Cable

Hello everyone. I am a bilateral cochlear implant recipient. As of right now, I have no hearing in my left ear due to a failed coil cable. As everyone knows, all Nucleus 7 parts are obsolete. I have called every audiologist in my area to see if they have any in stock, and no one has a spare. Because I am unable to afford the Nucleus 8 upgrade, I am searching for anyone who has a spare Nucleus 7 coil available for purchase? Preferably black. Magnet not needed. If so, I would be so grateful for the opportunity to purchase it from you. Thank you.

I just checked on eBay. There is a sand 6cm coil in London for a cool $250 plus $60 shipping. Talk about getting thrown under the bus. The seller should be ashamed of themself.

I am not using my grey N7’s. Thinking…..Where are you?

@Mack1 Welcome to the forum.

I’m currently in Hawaii, on holidays. I think I have a N7 coil at home. I’ll check when I get home next Thursday. If I do it will be sand in color.

What size magnet are you using? The #5 magnet uses a different coil.

I have two used grey 6cm slimline coils I can let you have. They look almost new except the wires have got the needed memory to stay put. I bet they will be fine for a long time.

I will see if a #5 magnet can be fitted into a slimline coil. I found one of my old #5 coils, should have two . They are old and discolored but till work I think. Haven’t used #5’s for about 5 years.

@Mack1 I have 2 new N7 slimline coils and 6 mic covers if you want them. As well as a disposable battery thingy which has never been used. They are all sand colour. I’m happy to post them over if you want them.

Shipping will be bad expensive from Oz. I have a couple used ones that look almost new I can mail him. Would have done it today but I have been covered up busy.
