I have a Phonak infinio I90 linked with a .
When I am in a quiet room there is quite a loud background hiss and about every 20 seconds a ch-ch-chhhhhh sound. It seems as though the aids are trying to work out what to do to process the sounds but when there aren’t any present it kind of gets confused.
My audiologist changed the adaptation speed to slower when using Autosense, but this also happens if I’m in a single program (e.g. restaurant).
I moved from Phonak Sky UP (long story) to the Cros and overall I do like it, and I’m used to having a lot of amplification so I don’t think it’s the case of me not being used to it. I started with domes but hated them and moved to molds, but I don’t think the vent size is necessarily correct as it’s pretty occluding and the aud did not reprogram the devices when he replaced the domes with the molds.
Has anyone else experienced this?
