Oticon ConnectClip - audio cuts out

I have the same problem when I use my phone or pc. This issue started when my audiologist updated my firmware. Did not have the issue with the original firmware.

The ConnectClip was mfg be a company called SBO Hearing in Denmark

They are owned by Demant, which of course, own Oticon!

I had a ConnectClip which worked well as a microphone (e.g. for listening to talks) and also paired to my desktop (running Ubuntu Linux). However, after 13 months it would work for neither purpose. I took it back to the opticians who supplied it for repair. I paid for the repair but was actually given a new unit. This works fine as a microphone, but will not pair with the computer (even after deleting the old record), and is not recognised and will not pair with another Ubuntu computer, this latter being only a year old. Any suggestions?
