Oticon Engage Android Bluetooth Use

Hi, I’ve had my Oticon Engage hearing aids with Bluetooth a couple of years now having had earlier versions for about 10 years previously. Is there any way to ‘Unlink’ the aids so that I can alter the volume independently as I used to be able to? I know I can do it on my phone with the app but it’s so much more convenient to do it via the rocker switches on the aids.

The NHS audiologist should be able to do this for you. That’s how I have my Oticon Optim hearing aids setup.

You can have both the program button and volume control unlinked.

I have my program button linked but my volume unlinked.

I also have NHS Oticon Aids.

Make an appointment with your hospital and ask for the volume to be unlinked.

Thanks, I’ll do that. I suspected it was something I couldn’t do myself.
I find the Oticon Companion app pretty useless. All I can do is control the volume - so much easier manually so it’s not worth the hassle of reconnecting every day after the aids have been switched off overnight.

Thanks for that but I don’t appear to have this feature in my Android app Oticon Companion v1.4.0. I asked about this at Audiology about a year ago and they said it was currently only available for iOS.
Shame, it would be the single most useful feature
Also it takes about three attempts to pair the app with my aids each time I turn them on,
