Oticon G-80, Searching for information

Hi, I’m thinking about buying the Oticon G80. Yes, it’s a real model, I’ve seen the G-series listed and available on some marketplaces(China, Indonesia) at a pretty good price for the features it offers.

I just want to know if anyone here has used this hearing aid before, and whether it can be programmed with the global version of Oticon Genie 2. Since G-80 is not in the list(inside the hearing aid list).

I wonder if this is the case like starkey, which i try programming intro2 nuear, even not listen in the hearing aid list…. but I still able to program with inspire x.

Hmm, I think that website is a bit misleading. I currently use an Oticon Jet 2 , and the site says it can be programmed with NOAHlink and Hi-Pro, but it doesn’t mention NOAHlink Wireless, even though that’s the standard for programming. As for the Oticon G80, the spec sheet shows it supports audio streaming, so it clearly has Bluetooth and can be programmed via NOAHlink.

The question in my mind is can Genie 2 actually program it, and if so, does it work with the global version, or is a specific regional build required? Since G-80 is not in the list(inside the hearing aid list).
