I cannot really explain it but i did it by holding my hearing aid body in place behind my ear as i have the ear mold in my ear then use my fingers to shape the wire. The wire will stay in place after a few days of this due to body heat forming the shape.

I have used a temp controlled soldering iron set to 250 F. to gently warm the section I want to bend.

Sorry! I’ve tried bending and holding the wire in place, using a hair dryer to heat the wire then bend it, even a wire plyers to BEND that sucker. NO LUCK. It just springs right back into its original shape as if to taunt me.
This stoopid wire seems to have a built-in memory of its own. I could not get the size L wire to go anywhere close to the contour of my head and ear, so I GAVE UP. I just had my audi swap it with the M/S wire. That’s a tad TOO short, but it fits the curve of my ear way better. She had to adjust the settings a bit after swapping the wire.
The longer ear wire poked out from the side of my head like a goofy HOOK that I could hang my pyjamas on. I kept catching it on my fingers, comb, headband, drove me nuts.
Others here seem to have better luck with getting the stubborn wire to shape close to their head, but I’m convinced: it’s ROCKET science.
