Oticon Reveal 1 – Poor Bluetooth Call Quality with iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hi everyone,

I'm currently testing the Oticon Reveal 1 with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. While sound quality for music, TV, and everyday listening is excellent, phone calls are a real problem.

The audio frequently cuts out, crackles, and sounds distorted. The person I'm calling also complains that my voice breaks up and sounds noisy.

The hearing aids are paired through . I've read that switching from to MFi in the fitting software might help. Is that actually possible or relevant?

Has anyone experienced similar issues with the Reveal 1 and found a solution?

I am having the same issue as you described and since I am trying out other hearing aids I want to find out if there is any possibility that this issue might be fixable. I would go with the Oticons if there could be a fix. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Those hearing aids can only connect to Apple devices via . Apple doesn't yet offer LE audio using the codec. I'd consider trying a different Apple phone. The iPhone 15 Pro/Max is known to have a myriad of thermal issues. These may be affecting other aspects of signal processing including the stability of MFi streaming.

I was having the same issue with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I complained to my Audi and she did something, and it now seems much better. I received this suggestion from someone in another group and I will share it with you. It may be what she changed, but it may not be.

Thank you so much, I will give it a try. Since I'm still in testing mode with the Oticon Reveal I'm asking myself if I should switch back to the Phonak Sphere - now to the Eon model. I have tested the Phonak Audeo Sphere a couple of months ago and the streaming was just perfect, super stable.
