Poor quality phone calls with Oticon Reveals

Anybody with the new Reveals having problems with phone calls? I have to turn my iPhone 17 Pro Max volume to max, and even then the calls are fuzzy and difficult to understand, and the caller reports bad sound quality at their end. I have these on trial now, and I'm not impressed with this at all. They are fit with double-vented Bass domes. 60 power receiver in the left ear and 85 in the right. I notice that these are just barely strong enough to support my hearing loss. Could over taxing the receivers create such a problem? I believe that I hear some clipping and momentary gaps when streaming music or video to the aids too.
