My Oticon have always been connected to the Oticon TV connector. My Samsung phone app, Oticon Companion has hijacked it and I cannot reconnect it to my TV connector. Frustrated beyond words. I have gone so far as to uninstall the phone App but still could not reconnect. I want the buttons in my ITE HAs to rely on the connector and not the phone.

Have you tried turning off bluetooth on your phone and placing your hearing aids on top of the Oticon TV connector and turn the aids off and then back on to see if they pair with the TV Connector?

Absolutely have turned off Bluetooth and then the whole Oticon companion as well on the phone. They would not reconnect with just the TV connector. I can get no sound without the Companion APP.

Yes that is correct. Was trying just to pair aids with TV Connector. Have you removed your aids from bluetooth pairing on your phone and re-paired with your aids? I know this is a pain. Hoping one of the folks here with a Samsung joins in.

Yes, I’ve gone through everything known to quit the Bluetooth hijack on my Samsung A10 phone, including a reset. (luckedly I’ve been able to reverse it) Nothing seems to allow me to return to the TV adapter alone, so I’ll just have to stay with the Oticon Companion until something happens. Thank you very much for the help.
