Anyone is having severe issues with an Android device (or iPhone) becoming unresponsive for extended periods of time (2, 5, 10, 15, sometimes 20 minutes) when paired with Philips 9050 hearing aids?
My Pixel 9 Pro (Android 17) started acting up shortly after picking up Philips 9050 in March of this year. It'd become unresponsive, refuse to display notifications or the top status bar (battery status, clock, WiFi status, etc.). At the first I thought it was the phone, something to do with the hardware, a monthly update, or perhaps it needed a factory reset. I was hoping the issue would go away on its own. It didn't and a couple of months ago it became much worse to a point of the phone becoming unusable. E.g. can't answer a call, view or respond to texts, launch an app. So I went on a limb and instead of factory resetting my existing Pixel 9 Pro, picked up a new model, Pixel 11 Pro. Guess what? Same issue. I can see the phone frantically trying to connect to the hearing aids (1-4 attempts per second) - then this seems to stop - yet the phone is still largely unresponsive for a while after that.
Anyone experiencing the same or a similar issue?
There are other issues, some of which already mentioned on the forum - e.g. one or both randomly disconnecting several times a day and needing a reboot to reconnect, no multipoint, etc.)
Thanks!
I have persistent issues with Bluetooth connectivity on Philips 9050 HAs
