This morning I was unable to connect the cable to the port on the back of the charger. It would not go far enough in to stay connected. I tried various cables and eventually found one that stays connected even though it is not fully inserted. I can pick up a replacement charger under warranty next week. Has anyone else experienced this. It may be because I am casual about using the original cable. Still, after under 12 months use it’s a bit disappointing.

It can happen by the wrong insertion of the connector. It is the reason I always get a backup charger for my aids. I am now retired but I use to have to travel on a moments notice so I keep a to go bag packed and ready for emergencies and for trips.

Thanks for that. I guess I stuck it in wrong this morning but pretty poor that this can happen. I take the point about a backup charger but I’m also thinking about backup aids after have the left aid fail when I was on my way to a dinner party. It was just a blocked but spoiled the evening. Of course, if I did have a backup I wouldn’t have had it with me but still….

I’ve also decided to use a dedicated cable and keep it plugged into the charger. Previously, I used to switch the cable between phone and charger. That meant connecting the cable to the charger on a daily basis.
