Phonak Infinio - new firmware

Phonak "pushed" a new firmware release to my Infinio i90s yesterday! That's a first! They flagged it in the myPhonak app. It was extremely simple to install and it's a relief not to have to ask my !
The notes cited "Improved reliability especially in reconnecting and other fixes" - and they are right! It's only 24 hours but my i90's reconnected to my Windows 11 PC as soon as I put them on this morning. Previously it had been a tussle and I frequently gave up.
Unfortunately the app doesn't display the firmware version, but worth asking your HCP. Please note I'm in Switzerland so YMMV!

Can’t you site the firmware number in the MyPhonak App under Devices/my hearing aids?

The Ultra firmware is 1.1.11.0

Had to be there somewhere! I was battling a major network problem at the time so didn't look very hard! Thanks.

The version of firmware installed by this new push process is 1.1.12.0.

Apparently, this firmware update is only rolled out in Switzerland so far so that Sonova can keep close tabs on it. Rollout to the US is likely to be in the next 4 to 8 weeks.

Changes may include:

• AutoSense blending refinements

• Bluetooth stability

• myPhonak connectivity improvements

• Minor battery optimizations

• Bug fixes not publicly documented

If you mean , no. But I noticed one poster claimed Phonak told them to expect it early in 27.

I have the Phonak Spheres and the Oticon INTENT1 aids and to be honest I prefer the Bluetooth capability of the Phonak Spheres over the fully updated INTENT1 aids.

Phonak Bluetooth may be the best but there are still some stability issues. I'm looking forward to the update.
