Phonak Naida P90-UP suddenly drops in volume and speech clarity

Hi, thanks for the answer. When I change to the music program there is less resonance effect and is also barely noticeable. I’m starting to think it’s something on the Autosense OS automatic settings or my HAs are faulty and need to be replaced. Tomorrow I will see my audiologist and I will ask also for a test.

I went to my audiologist and tested my HAs, the problem of crackling sounds and resonance was in the earhooks. He changed my earhooks with new ones with the acoustic filter and the problem has been solved now. He also made some regolations to my fitting because after 45 days of use I became used to hear high frequences sounds better and I am also more sensible to sound variations so he lowered down a bit the high frequences because they were set too high when I trialed the HAs. The P90s are very great! It’s like my brain has reactivated some sleepy areas which compensate a little bit better in my hearing loss. They are definitely the best hearing aids I ever tried so far! My audiologist also will change and optimize my fittings so I will get better hearing in speech understanding and high frequencies sounds. They are very powerful HAs. I will also buy a better hearing aid dryer because it’s very important that the HAs and earhooks must be dryed to get perfect sounds. I prefer the earhooks with the acoustic filter because strangely I get a better sound and better speech understanding with the acoustic filter. When in the last session my audiologist removed the acoustic filter they sounded very powerful but I had trouble to understand speech in some situation. They may be problematic with sweat and humidity and they should be changed but it could be solved with a better hearing aid dryer.
