I’ve got a pair of Phonak P90 RT hearing aids as a spare set, and got them out for the first time in about a year to use while my main aids were being serviced. They’d been stored in their charging case (which doesn’t have a battery), and worked fine last time I’d used them.
The right turns on and works fine, but the left doesn’t. When I put it in the charging case with power connected, a green light comes on, followed by solid red. When I take it out of the case, there’s nothing - no response to buttons etc.
I can connect to both hearing aids (when the left one is in the charger) using Phonak Target and my Noahlink, and they both look fine in the app, and both report full batteries. I’ve used Target to do a factory reset of both, but it didn’t make any difference. If I remove the left one from the charger while it’s connected to Target it disconnects immediately,
Any suggestions? Unfortunately it’s an out of warranty pair that I got second hand, so if I can’t get it working myself I’m unlikely to find anyone to service / fix it.
