If V has an app, then sky V probably won’t have access to it. In marvel sky that’s the main difference and drawback (and reason why I didn’t take sky aids).
Also, in marvels autosense was especially developed for kids, to react better in their environments (eg bunch of screaming kids around). But Vs have old autosense so I don’t think there’s difference between adult and kid version.
@Alain
My thoughts are that’s this aid is so old that it’s probably obsolete (aids came up in 2016, and platform in 2014, there are 3 more platforms since then, 2 in sky range). If price is the only factor, is this really the only one they can offer to you for free?
I wouldn’t count on choice of colors, since they’re probably not manufactured anymore, so, you can probably only choose from what your audi has on stock.
Hearing Aids for Kids - Sky Link Marvel | Phonak
Sky Link Marvel is a hearing aid made with children in mind. Designed to be worn all day, they are comfortable, reliable, and safe to wear.
Second pdf is overview of features, so you can check what options it has.
Compared to the marvel line, autosense on venture (V) is very very basic - has quiet, and speech and comfort in noise.
Plus it’s first autosense edition, marvel has third. And third one really works nicely. I didn’t test V though.
But if it’s free and your only option and you’re mostly in quiet and do not need Bluetooth streaming abilities, I’d expect them to serve you nicely. But definitely try and test them before commiting.
