I received my Phonak Spheres i90 aids back from being sent in for repairs. My right aid suddenly died almost 3 weeks ago. My left aid was working but had the same symptoms as my right aid before it died. I am not positive but I believe they sent me new aids, all of the small complaints are now gone. And I am back to what I have come to understand as normal hearing for me. I wore my INTENT1 aids while my Phonak Spheres were out for repairs and I can say with all honest that my Spheres have a more natural sound to me. The Intent1 aids have a definite higher pitch sound to them, that at times was irritating and made me nervous. The only thing that upsets me at all about the Spheres is that they don't truly mute, they still have a low amount of sound. I know this by comparing them muted and powered off. I am glad to have them back as I have a men's retreat next week and the classrooms can be noisy and have an echo. I will definitely have my Roger ON3 with me. Last year at the retreat I wore the Intent1 aids and I would get a terrible headache. Wish me better luck this time with the Spheres.
