phonak vs resound algorithm

My audi says that resound nexia takes a more aggressive approach to sound, whereas phonak prioritizes comfort. She suggested that resound might help me better understand my quiet kid’s speech better (mild high frequency hearing loss - currently using phonak). Would other audiologists agree with this? Or does this audi just like resound bc it’s easier for them to set up?

No it’s not like that , it’s all in the way they are fitted, really it’s not for them to choose which work for you! You need to make this choice based on what you think works best for you, you’ll need to trial them to find this out, good luck.
