Resound Smart 3D Auracast Assist missing

Hello! I’ve been trying to connect my Resound Nexia hearing aids for a few days to my dongle trasmitter for pc. The problem is that in my iPhone 15 Resound Smart 3D app doesnt have Find broascast option. i tried reinstall the app, unpairring and paring again the hearind aids. I want to get Avantree Audikast 4 but if i dont get a way to have the option to connect to a broadcast it’s useless. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Maybe someone has a solution. The Resound app will only show the option if a) it is an up to date version of the app and b) it detects hearing aids that have Auracast functionality. The Nexia does, but maybe if they still had very old firmware, they might not ? I don’t know.

The iPhone 15 is certainly compliant. It’s probably worth putting current IOS firmware on it if you haven’t been bothering to keep it up to date.

So I would get an audiologist to check that your Nexias have up to date firmware as well and I would delete the Resound app, tell the iPhone to forget the Nexias, restart the iPhone, and then re-pair the Nexias, reinstall the Resound app from the Apple App Store and connect your Nexias to it.

If your Nexia firmware is up to date then I suspect that either the Assistant is disabled, or you are not running the latest IOS version of the app.

In order to check this select the “More” Icon in your app (bottom right corner of screen) which will give something that looks like the photo below:

If you are running the latest version of the Resound App under the heading of Application you should see an option for the Auracast Assistant make sure this enabled i.e. showing the red symbol on the right.

If there is no Auracast Assistant option listed select the Option for App Version which will give you the following screen

The current version of the Resound App is 1.41.0 If you are running an older version update it in the Apple App Store.
