I have the Resound Smart fit software and there is an area for Environmental Optimizer. I have adjusted the gain in the 2000 to3000Hz range and that has improved my speech recognition. Presently the Environmental Optimizer for all around is set at quiet +2, soft +3, loud +1, In noise moderate +1, in noise loud 0 and moderate -2. The In noise section is turned off. My question is would I benefit from adjusting these settings? Should I turn on the In Noise section and try adjusting that?
I am starting from the settings programed into the hearing aids from the original supplier who has since sold the business to Miracle Ear who is not very interested in trying to adjust my hearing aids.
