Connexx is fitting software for hearing aid professional fitters and self-taught users who do their own fitting. My reference was directed to the Rexton software app supplied to endusers with the hearing aids, and to the information supplied to me at purchase.

I was referring to the end user software app that comes with the aids. It has an option called Rexton assist and that allows changes to the aids and those changes are permanent

I’m trying to assess what programs to change in my Rexton Reach. I’ve had them for 1 month and I’m pleased with the automatic program; now I’m wondering what other programs to add. I had the Rexton TrX 42 before, so I initially tried to keep those old program too, but now that I compared the new automatic program with the old Noise/Party program, I found out that the new automatic is much better, thus I don’t need to keep this program anymore. I was wondering what others recommend. From reading this thread I thought I should ask for the music program, the telecoil program; the Costco technician recommends the reverb program; I also thought that the standby program would be useful. Any further suggestion?

Following. I do end up using Automatic the most and it’s pretty solid. I have Noise/Party for work to cut out some of the white noise pumped into the office. Listening to Music. I had Telecoil but did not find enough locations near me to justify it. Outdoor/Traffic has worked well in some situations. I bought a Noahlink and now have the software to add my own programs so I’m dependant on the Costco tech, which has been convenient.

What does the Reverb/Reducer program do? The other programs have names that explain their use, but this is the first time I have heard of this program.

I have the Rexton reach’s for the last 5 months I actually prefer the noise party program as it seems to eliminate noise from behind me and just focuses on the person in front or to the side of me I am speaking to. To me the automatic program does not eliminate enough background noise. Even when I use the forward focus and drag it down to 180 or down to 90 degrees it still has hissing in the background.
I wonder if I can have the Costco rep make the noise party mode as my primary mode instead of the automatic.

I’ve had my Rexton Reaches for a month now and am loving them. Was in a few days ago for readjustments after switching to slightly larger domes (12 mm tulip), provided free at the Costco where I got the aids. The original domes pooped out too easily, and the new ones fit more tightly and, after the adjustments, the sound is very natural.

I tried clicking on Noise/Party but it won’t switch. It stays on Automatic. What’s the secret to making ot switch?

I see here that your phone is a Pixel, I am using an iPhone model SE3 which is about two years old. So my advice may not be accurate for your phone. My Costco Specialist added the different programs to my app all I have to do is click on them.

Today I got my firmware updated to 25.61104.3 and now my choice of Noise/Party sticks instead of jumping back to the default, as I am trying that even at home with my very soft-spoken wife. So far so good.

My post above dated Dec 2024 is no longer accurate. I have Automatic, Noise/Party, Reverb Reducer, Outdoor/Traffic and Television. my settings through Rexton Assist seem to stick now; my Pixel 9 incoming comes into my hearing aids unless I switch to Speaker which is rarely necessary unless I want to share the conversation with my wife. All is well!
