Set Hearing Aid so Sound Doesn't Come Out When Streaming (Not sure what you call it)

Maybe if I describe this situation, someone can chime in on what the term for this is. So, when I have my bluetooth enabled and streaming through the computer, it is supposed to be private. But, somebody walked by me the other day and commented they could hear what was streaming from my hearing aid.

How do I turn this off so that 1. I can still use the mic via my connect clip, 2. So that NO SOUND comes out of my hearing aid when streaming?

I have the same thing it is because you need so much power to hear that your aids are allowing the sounds to escape from the ear molds and domes are even worse. Unless you wish to wear ear muffs or over the rar headphones there isn’t anything that can be done

I just streamed some music from my phone at a moderate volume, which my wife said she could hear faintly when I was about a metre away. I turned down the volume and she could still hear but not make out what it was.

I’ve only had my ha for a week so far from being an authority. It seems like it would be the same if someone were wearing headphones or earbuds.

Just a volume issue? Maybe others need to give you some privacy?

I wear headphones over my aids and ears and my wife doesn’t hear what i am listening to. And it doesn’t matter if I am streaming to my aids or streaming to the headphones.

I’ve had the issue on occasion, pumping up the volume for my favourite songs and if someone is close enough they’ll hear it! leaks straight out the vent on my custom molds!

Seen your I think you’ll need more volume then a lot of others on the forum. And you’ll probably have custom moulds too so they do their work for privacy already.

So if that all is the case and you cannot turn down your volume a bit in the case you mention the only thing that could be done is using nice over the ears headphones with comfortable cushions to cover your ears.
