He has ordered cshells for me. Took moulds
This is good progress Dave, you should get better gains than with domes. I’m surprised this hasn’t been done before with your loss.

Neville knows that I’ve been the reluctant one. I had awful experiences with an In The Ear Widex and kept it for 10 years (until I had enough hearing loss for workman’s compensation) I bought it when I was unemployed. Found the vendor in the yellow pages. Them’s the Days.
My Hearing Instrument Specialist was General Manager of Starkey in Canada. I’m very grateful he took me on.
He was influenced by my own exceptions

Mixed feelings after arriving home last night.
I have the Juvenlile 5 setup program installed. I had trouble hearing with the prescription volume set
Frankly couldn’t hear as well as the LS2 I had before. But I had a habit of turning voume up two clicks with LS2 (which is gone, for now.) So I tried 2 clicks or louder…but (confession) I stuck to myself. I was exhausted and more than a little cranky. I don’t drink. Haven’t for 40 years. But last night would have been time for a couple of doubles…
When I got out to my car yesterday my hearing aids were both dead. I thought he had bricked them! So I went back in and kept other customers waiting for 1/2 an hour. The Paradise P90R’s are ok now. Heck I was hoping to try some Oticons or Resounds!
Today the jazz station music was beautiful. And sounded better than I remember hearing music in years.
@Ethhan I’m getting c-shells!

I’ve decided I don’t like this juvenile setup program
I don’t hear as well now as before it was installed.
I’m having real trouble with background noise
I can’t wait to get my inserts.
I need to have my setup restored the way it was

I had my session.
One step forward. 2 back
I had a short hearing test
That was good. He is happier. I had trouble last time. I’ll update my when I can. It always takes me a long time
I ordered cshells. We shall see.
I had him install the juvenile 5 Adult setup. I don’t like it. Bad word recognition.
So I need to go back.
I should keep my mouth shut.

This hearing experience….
I make a point of asking people with hearing aids how they like them. When they do, I ask where they got them
Today I couldn’t hear a neighbour talk. Karla is a neighbour I’ve known for almost 20 years. She and her husband and nurses had provided 24 hour care fo a very ill daughter. Daughter has passed.
She caught me saying Eh ? And cupping my ear on her side. She showed me her hearing aid. In The Ear. Port Credit Audiology. Starkey. She liked it.
Audeo Paradise P90R. No. I don’t like. It. That’s me.
Good neighbour. Told her so.
So I have a link to follow up on.
I just want to hear as well as I can
They used to look after their daughter in shifts. Day. Night.
They’re learning how to spend time together. Daughter was 25. R I P.

It is what it is…
I want to get my hearing aids adjusted/setup so that I can hear.
I truly appreciate your suggestion for moulds/inserts. I should have listened. You have been very patient and helpful.

I’m happy! I’ve had a good experience!
How are you?
How is your new job?

I’m curious Dave, …what fitting formula were you ultimately happy with? You hearing loss and mine are similar.

MIKE. Bad memory. He used LT2 if I remember. Right
I believe that setup program is 15 years old.
LT3 has been announced. It hasn’t been released
