I have a new pair of Signia IX7 Charge and Go and very familiar with the fitting software options, but can’t seem to find anything to check out for my last remaining issue. Overall I am very pleased with the hearing aids in noisy and quiet environments which is majority of use. The one area that still annoys me most is riding in the car, the aids seem to mute randomly based on external car/road noises but not usually from radio or person talking. I believe its some features kicking in repsonse to the unvaluable road noise etc. My previous AX did not have these issues, but while hearing road noise is not ideal, I was fine with it for a constant sound level experience. Having it mute randomly even when I start talking throws me off for listening experience. To a hearing person, imagine if you were to put your fingers in and out of your ears randomly while in a conversation or put ear plugs in and out for no good reason what your experience would be like…this is my best analogy. Does anyone have ideas what could be causing this and if another program could be created to alleviate these issues that I could switch to when it happens?
