Welcome to the forum, most likely just needs a little adjustments in the higher frequencies, but if you’ve never used until now you may just need to get used to these sounds you haven’t heard in a while, post your audogram if possible and what acoustics your using
(domes or molds) as this will help everyone offer advice.
One thing is the X models are an older platform.

Thanks. I use molds. Have severe/profound hearing loss. Have been using hearing aids since the early 80’s. I don’t have a copy of my . The audiologist tried lowering the threshold but that made it worse. So I had them reset to the original program. I do use a also.
One of the things I liked about the Signia was the long battery life. It’s rated at 60 hours. Being that I can’t hear a thing without my aids I did like that feature.
Another aid they recommended was Resound. But that only had a life of 30 hours. They said less with streaming, etc.

Ok I see so it’s a system, I’d be surprised if you got anywhere close to 60 as CROS will use a bit more juice, but if you wanted you could try your hand at a bit of to see if you can get things sounding the way you like, the app is handy to make some minor adjustments plus Signia assistant in app to make changes more permanent, your Audiologist can see these changes and make permanent as well.
ReSound is another great brand but as pointed out not much run time compared to Signia.

Thanks. The App really doesn’t give much for adjustments. Volume and balance and direction. I’m thinking of trying the Resound. Hopefully if I get the rechargeable ones it will last a day.

The app can do program changes including what you have mentioned, what else would you like to be able to do within the App, although the ReSound smart App offers EQ etc, as I have no personal experience with I don’t know if the Apps offer less features then other so I guess that could be something to look into as well, yeah definitely you want to last 12 -14 hours, you’d need to confirm with them as there’s definitely a noticeable difference.

Thanks. I’ll have to ask the audiologist. I thought when I first considered Resound she said the batteries were rated to last 30 hours
