Smart 3D Favourites Location not Working

I have GN Resound Linx 9 3D hearing aids. By setting up favourite locations on them they should automatically change setting when entering the zone of a previously set location.

This used to work but it no longer does. It’s quite annoying as I actually bought a new phone (android) that is on their compatibility list in trying to ensure I got full functionality.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it? Also, is there any way that GN support can be contacted about this?

Have you got the Favourites locations allowed in the Smart 3D Settings? This is IOS but I imagine the Android app will be similar.

I’d go with this: the location service is provided by the phone, not the aids. I suspect that there’s something in the Android settings specifically precluding apps from directly accession the GPS functionality without permission. At the very least you’d need to clear the extra programs from the aids/app and re-establish them through the new phone as new favourites using that particular phone’s GPS.

Thanks guys, but I do have location permissions for Smart 3D to “all the time” and the favourites were created on the new phone.

I’m afraid not, and I don’t think it’s a permissions thing. My phone logs confirm that Smart 3D is permitted and is using locations. It’s a PITA! :angry:
