Starkey Edge AI mRIC R pro fit issue

Hi,

Today I picked up my new Edge mRIC aid which is wireless. I have been so excited to try the latest Starkey model.

I had setup everything on pro fit but the aid is not connecting. There is red error message stating “Connect receiver”. The receiver is brand new and the correct model Snap Fit 2.0.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I am not familiar with pro fit, but with the fitting software I have used, you have to make sure that there is not any other active Bluetooth devices nearby. Turn off Bluetooth in you phone, ipad or other devices that may interfer with the pro fit connection. good luck.

As raylock1 mentions, plus you are putting your has in pairing mode?also you only get 2/3 minutes to make the pairing with your and Noahlink, I’d also reattach the receiver to make sure you have 100% connection.

Tenkan, it is my first . How do I enable pairing mode? I don’t have the starkey app at the moment. On the aid, there is only 1 button which I can see

So you have only one hearing aid ?
Have you already disconnect and reconnect the receiver to the device ?
Do you have the possibilty to try a different receiver?
Were did you obtain this hearing aid?
Was the aid pre-programmed with a different receiver with different strength ?

Can you try the connection to ProFit via another PC/Laptop?

The aid is brand new from Starkey. I only have one receiver and tried to reconnect/disconnect; it clicks in fine.

Tenkan. The aids have not been programmed yet. They have no settings, target gain etc uploaded on them as I cannot access the Pro Fit main page via the aids. I have contacted my audi who has said he will order new receivers and we check from there once they arrive
