Hey everyone. Been wearing hearing aids my whole life, have a moderate-to-severe loss and actually found that I’m hearing way better with certain models (closer to eardrum, natural ear shape etc factors working better for me) so been wearing them in the last 15 years or so.
In my understanding, CICs are supposed to be small and not poke out of the ear. That’s what I always had. Now, after trialling Starkey Omega 24 model, I ordered a CIC and it came out ENORMOUS (more like ). My audi is saying it’s how it’s supposed to look and doesn’t think the manufacturer will reduce the size but I disagree, and believe this is some sort of mistake. Especially that my 10 year old CICs are tiny compared to newest Starkeys, which doesnt make sense with the tech becoming smaller every year.
Did everyone else with Omega CICs have the same experience and is that a norm for Starkey to create huge CICs, or is that indeed a mistake and I should push harder to fix it?
