Hi,
As I mentioned in other posts already, my son is trying out a Phonak Sky L and today I tried to stream some music from Spotify directly to the HA and although I was able to hear the music myself as I was standing next to him, he was saying that it was too low, which was surprising to me. He says that he listen our voices and other noises louder and the music was too low.
The volume of the Bluetooth connection on my iPhone was around 50/60%. I am wondering how the steaming volume works. Let’s say that I put the volume on my iPhone at the minimum. Is the gain applied by the hearing aids supposed to be the minimum needed to reach his hearing threshold? Also, I noticed that I had the option to limit the output to 85db enabled on my iPhone and the option to “reduce loud sounds” also enabled. Can this be affecting the amplification of the hearing aids? It is a normal Bluetooth connection (they are not recognized as hearing aids), but I’ve marked them as hearing aids in the settings of the Bluetooth connection.
Thanks in advance for your help!
