I am wondering, especially for connecting to Android devices and streaming Bluetooth audio, whch hearing aids have the best implementation? I want them to function like Airpods or Galaxy Buds. I really value good streaming; like I can put the phone in my pocket and it still connects to both hearing aids.
connecting to Android devices and streaming Bluetooth audio, which hearing aids have the best implementation

The newest will probably have the newest connection protocol. Untill now Phonak was the best with there BT Classic and BT LE protocols. Connecting to 2 BT devices at the same time and having 8 registered devices. Next to that 2 way connection so talking and listening with the phone in the pocket for Androids.
At the moment there are coming up other HA brands also allowing 2 connected devices at the same time and the market is fast.
Bluetooth 5 and later got the far better connection distance possibilities and version 6 is focussing on channel sounding but that will probably not add extra connection distance.
So there you have a few items to keep in mind.
Succes with your decision.
The Android audio streaming profile for hearing aids () has been hit and miss in terms of its performance.
It looks as though your phone supports though so you’ll have a broader range of options with the potential for longer battery life vs bluetooth classic audio streaming. Talk to your audiologist about this and get feedback from other users. I haven’t had any experience with your specific phone.
Your best options for bluetooth classic audio streaming are Unitron Smile and Phonak Infinio devices have the longest bluetooth range for bluetooth classic and the most stable connection in general but this will depend on your phone and location also.
Signia has a single product that also uses bluetooth classic for audio streaming. It is a first generation product and I haven’t seen much real world feedback.
I have the Oticon INTENT1 aids and the Samsung S23 phone and streaming is great. I have hands free calls and I listen to audiobooks 3 to 4 hours a day. And still have 20 hours of battery life
