Target 11.2.2
7 replies282 viewsLast reply
I run Target 9.1 on Windows 10 and have an option to update to 11.2.2 as shown in your screenshot- I have Paradise P90.
Should I update and should I expect any problems?
Any advantage when conecting to and setting my P90 in new version?

I’m not sure if Phonak Target 11.2.2 is compatible with Windows 10 as I am running Windows 11. Google says the updated target will run on Windows 10 but why take a chance of corruption?
You will not be able to upgrade your Paradise equipment to AutoSense OS 7.0, that feature is for the Infinios. My Phonak Lumitys are still at AutoSense OS 5.0 I do have Infinio 90 - Sphere and upgrading the AutoSense OS in Lumitys is not an option.
I don’t see any advantage for you to upgrade to the latest Phonak Target software until you get Windows 11 or new hearing aids.
Good Luck and let us know here if you have any other questions.

I always say only update software or firmware if it’s absolutely necessary when required.

Thanks guys for your advice. Will wait till I get Infinio sphere.
By the way, I guess update to 11.2.2 also requires update of Noah Wireless.

No you should be fine.

Each successive iteration of Phonak Target just seems to provide support for the latest ’s. There is never any updates than can be applied to older HA’s. I realize that older models just cannot handle some of the latest features but it would be great to be able to use APD2 and get a newer version of Autosense.

But then the manufacturers wouldn’t be able to sell you the latest and greatest if you could just “update” your older models, mind you most of it is just marketing hype anyways ; )
