If one purchases trial hearing aids such as the Phonak Audeo ones, do they stop working after 6 months or so due to firmware expiry?

I do have Phonak Target + Noahlink Wireless, so can keep resetting the trial period, but just wondering if they have an expiration date after which they will no longer work?

ChatGPT seems to think trial hearing aids will stop working after 6 months, however does anyone have an experience with this - hopefully it is just the trial period that needs to be reset?

I am not aware of any expiration period. I have a pair of P90 trial aids which I have had for about 2 years. When I wear them I reset them for a 12 week period on Target. All you have to do to reset them is connect them to Target and save. You will have an option of how long the next period will be.
