Trialing Phonak I70, should I consider I90 or even Sphere instead?

My wife tried the Spheres, but she has small external ears closely positioned to her head. Spheres made her ears stick out like Dopey in the Disney version of “Snow White” so it was a no-go. She has Resound Vivia 6 and likes them a lot.

I have news Audeo Sphere i70s. They are currently being returned to Phonak for “repair.” To be honest, I hope someone drops them to the floor and accidentally crushes them!

There is a very long story behind my comment. Brief version - I am VERY disappointed by the sound reproduction ESPECIALLY with the TV Connector, but also in normal mode. While they are out, I am using my 6-7 year old much less expensive Phonak Breo 3 (from Costco). Once they were adjusted properly for me, their sound reproduction, as judged by music with which I am very familiar, is vastly superior!

I sought to replace them because they are getting old and either Lor R shuts off sporadically.

Anyone else have problems with the Phonak Audeo i70 model?

Did I miss something?

Was the 1st prior advice based on 'the technology / things' making a huge difference?

That did not address the choice between i70 and I90.
I just went with the I70.
I'm brand new with them and have not gone back to the audiologist, but I have an issue with them. I will post it here if I can.
