I wonder how someone would use an Apple watch with Phonak Paradise ?
Are there any benefits for HA user or is just a gimmick?
Thx

I have my watch do the notifications so I’m not having the audio in my ears paused and switched around while it goes back and forth to streaming to whatever I was doing. Not much else directly related I’ve seen or imagined as things are now.

@WhiteHat
-Is it possible to change program/volume using the watch?
-Can you use it as a microphone when on a phone call, as the HA microphone volume is too low for people on the side of the line to hear the conversation (my experience, as I can’t hear my brother well since he started using the Naida Paradise, but I could hear him just fine when he was using Oticon Agile pro with the streamer)?
Thx

If I pair/connect the to the watch, then it starts interrupting my soundscape like the phone did. Don’t want. I can talk on the phone like anyone else, but it isn’t great. Effectively you have a tiny speakerphone. It works but…
It doesn’t adjust the HAs at all. No handles to grab. No watch app. Zip Zero Nada.

I occasionally use Apple Watch to listen to music or podcast streamed to my ears. It also gives verbal directions when using maps while driving. I also have it set up to vibrate for alerts which is a tactile way of getting my attention. I’m guessing there are other features that I haven’t discovered.

The big thing for me, using an Apple Watch, is vibration notifications, along with all the health and fitness stuff.
I don’t use it for any audio at all. I have disabled all the audio mirror function from the phone, to extend battery life.
It would be nice to have a watch app to control the ’s (Button to change programs, crown to change volume).

I have turned most notifications off on the phone. I don’t want silly interruptions stopping my hearing. I have to unmirror the app notifications to get much of anything.
I only use it for calls when I get stuck somewhere without my phone. Which is astonishingly rare, really.
But like you I do a bunch of health tracking stuff. Went about a month nov-dec without after having used my son’s while he was in training in the Army. I sent it back and said I’d see how I did. I got the money out and paid…

With my phone in Mute, I still get all my wanted (those that I have not individually turned off) vibration notification without the sound.
