myPhonak app update 2025

I pull out my phone and start the APP…
That’s not allowed in a meeting.
Maybe create a special “meeting” program and enter it before going into meeting? If it was the last custom program you used, you could use the buttons to get there.

The reply from Phonak support is that the Heart Rate monitor feature is only supported by the Audeo FIT model. The APP user guide should make note of that to remove any misunderstanding.

Hello DaveL, I think Whitehat is right.
We must remember that Phonak or any haid maker does not know what we are doing or where we are. Autosense does sense the environment, which is excellent for more or less general daily life. However, for things like meetings, I would work in a special program to squeeze everything I could get from the programming to my favor.
Just before the meeting, I would activate and, at the end, manually deactivate.

Since the update. hearing programs for the phonak sphere in the mobile app were altered. I no longer see an option to adjust them. 3 were set by audiologists, but I modified others and get a prompt to return to audiolists for adjustments. Am I missing something?

Where is the adjust button found. I don’t see it in my Mobile application for android. I have phonak sphere 90. Adjustme ts I made are gone and i do not see an adjustment button for any of the programs Just an option to rename the programs

I am disappointed to have to make another unnecessary tap (in addition, in a very difficult-to-reach place at the top of the screen) to make individual adjustments. Now I have two unnecessary hops through almost the whole length of the screen… The previous solution, where the “Adjust” button was readily accessible at the bottom of the screen after entering the myPhonak app, was definitely better. When I bring up the APP it shows “Hearing Program Automatic” near the top.
I touch the screen there.
I see "Select hearing program X "
So I can either SELECT A PROGRAM,
or "ADJUST" at the bottom corner of my screen.
I had the same issue. I guess I was supposed to know…but I didn’t know.

If you don’t select a hearing program by touching at the top and touch adjust at the bottom instead, a new screen pops up showing what program automatic has selected it and is presently in. It could be any one of the automatic programs, in my case it is most often calm situation (automatic). You can then update the program ( in this example calm situation) using update or save as new buttons. Save as new gives the option of giving the program a new name.

An annoyance with the new MyPhonak app. It often doesn’t provide the % charge for my left hearing aid (for reference, my right is the master classic HA). Force-killing the MyPhonak app in the iOS App Switcher and launching the MyPhonak app anew usually fixes the left HA % SOC readout problem. I typically use my iPhone in the Battery Low Power mode to conserve phone charge and not have a lot of apps running in the background, so perhaps that might have something to do with the MyPhonak failing to read the left HA state of charge at times.

Nah, my phone isn’t configured that way and the app loses track all the time. I’ll see like 82% and 79% for the aids and think that can’t possibly be accurate. Restarting the app will yield the more reasonable 17 and 23.
Just the way the app is, I guess.

Perhaps reinstalling the myPhonak app is needed, or at least deleting the application’s cache.
IIRC, @cvkemp advised “forget” and repairing again your .

Thanks for confirming this. I thought there was something wrong with my phone. I kept trying to use the app on the airplane and it wouldn’t connect. I think it somehow needs an internet connection to work…which is totally weird. Obviously you can still switch programs and adjust volume via the buttons on the hearing aids but not sure why an app would need an internet connection.

Maybe it was in airplane mode? You do need Bluetooth.

I tried turning off airplane mode and it didn’t work. As the previous person stated, the app won’t connect to the hearing aids without an internet connection. It’s weird.

Interesting. I just turned off the SIM card and WFI on my phone and the app still worked. (Maybe that doesn’t turn off my AT&T lnternet signal?? Over my head
)
Edit: Samsung phone

I did the same thing with my Starkey aids and a Pixel 6a.
The app still worked.
