Jabra and Costco and adjustment to hearing aid

I purchased Jabra Pro 10 2 years ago from Costco; sound quality really good, understanding conversations etc quite well. Fall of 2024 they hearing aids started malfunctioning, had them replaced and I am still getting terrible sound quality, scratchy, muffled and after trying 4 different Costco employees to adjust I am done with them . WHO can adjust these other than Costco, Seattle area

Anyone with Resoud Smart Fit software and a windows computer and a NoahLink Wireless can adjust them … including YOU.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go, be sure to do some research and read the user guides before starting, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects.

It’s possible to teach yourself how to adjust your Aids. I doubt I have the patience myself. If I needed someone outside Costco to adjust my EP10s, I’d look for a friendly ReSound provider with several years of experience, since the software and techniques that work for ReSound Ominas work for the Jabra EP 10s.

Are you certain it is not getting the adjustment right and not the aids themselves? If you take them to someone else, will you be able to return them should you decide to do so?

Exactly - when I was fitted with Jabra 30’s last Friday they did tests.

@John2954 did they do REM tests each time you went back with your replacement aids for 4 different adjustments? If 4 different Costco fitters are not getting them to sound good for you I would ask for replacement aids again.

John, I’m getting my hearing tested in June and then will trial the Jabra 30 hearing aids at Costco. I will then try to dial-in the hearing aids using the Resound software.

If you still have the Jabra 30s and are willing to drive south to Fife or Tacoma and meet at one of the libraries, we can see if you can get your Jabra 30s dialed in too. Personal message me if you want to try to arrange something in July.
