I have a Pixel 7 Pro also and I have only very rare connection problems with my Pro 30. I’m about to get the Pixel 10 Pro, but that’s only because Verizon is making me an offer I can’t refuse.

With my S25, auracast capable, I can listen to an auracast broadcast without using the Jabra App as the phone can route it to my HA Pro 30. Which is how I use them right now as my S25 is unable to connect to the App due to it running Android 16. So with my S25 I can’t use the finer points of the App like adjusting for wind noise etc within each setting.
Now I’m confused. On July 8 you posted:
Upgrading my S21 to S25 fixed all those connection problems.
Are you saying you are having problems connecting to the Enhance Pro app because of Android 16?
I haven’t been able to test yet as I would need to find a broadcast source locally.

The latest update has caused that. Jabra/GN are aware & working with Google. I am awaiting a fix…. Either app update or Android.
I use a Broadcast device connected to my Samsung TV/Stereo…. Homespot BA210 from Amazon. My TV is too old to do … latest one’s can do it.

I have the same device for Aurcast and it is too loud to use. UNLESS you go to the App and turn down the streaming audio to jussst barely on. I also drop the background noise to off.

I am approaching 60 days with my JPR30’s. I have replaced my S21 with an S23 and it does seem to be more functional now. These are my observations so far:
1 Someone mentioned a delay in the audio when answering the phone?
A - with the S23 now I get a Caller ID announcement in my ear and that does delay the connection. I wonder if those who are not hearing the CID (because Contact access is blocked??) are simply hearing silence instead?
2 I now have Hands free Call capability. However any one speaking to me says that they cannot understand me and I have to use up to the ear to converse with anyone. Dang that this the very reason I upgraded my phone to S23 for. Costco say that there is no adjust available for that audio, Grrrrr!
3 Because I cannot have late day dead or low battery events I charge them every night and still have around 50% of battery left when I put them to bed.
4 I had the Outdoor mode added and it is Fabulous!! When I am walking with people I can hear them and the surrounding environment clearly. When I get back in my vehicle, I am quickly reminded that I need to switch back to All Around mode.
5 I had to dig around in Android to find where to allow phone ringing to pass through to my ’s ??
I like to keep my Ringer on vibrate only which was no problem on the S21 and I got Notifications in my HA’s anyway, but it not doable on the S23 that I have found so far anyway.
This is a great discussion!!

I understand now. Going through the Play Store reviews there are a lot of complaints since the last update.
Jabra Enhance Pro™ - for your hearing aid...
I’m trying to find an broadcast locally to test if it will work with mine. Your comment on the Homespot BA210 working has me tempted to buy one. It is a lot cheaper than buying a new phone to test.
I’m hoping that the charging sequence I used last night was responsible for the better connections I had today. I placed the aids in the charger, waited for the app to recognize they were charging. then turned off bluetooth and got a single disconnected notification.
This morning I turned on bluetooth, let the app see the aids were in the charger. Then the aids out one at time to place in my ears.
Even though I had turned off the bluetooth connection to my fitness watch during the day yesterday to see if that had any effect on the connection (it didn’t). I was surprised to see that it was connected all day today with minimal effect on the connection of the aids to my phone.

Thanks for posting the review & suggestions. Yes it is a great discussion.
They only initially installed 2 programs (cards) on mine. All Round and Hear in Noise.
I’ve notice in the All Round, music sounds better than it has in years. I’ll ask for the Music Program to be installed. The noise filter in the All Round does a great job of reducing noise while drive with the window down or walking down a busy street.
I spend a few hours a day walking the dog, based on your feedback, Outdoor mode will be my other card request.
I tried the Hear in Noise at a young kids birthday party. It didn’t work as well as I had hoped. I noticed my aids are not sitting right and will be asking the audi to change the wire lengths at my first adjustment appointment. Hopefully having the aids properly positioned might help.
There are some pretty granular volume adjustments in my Android 16. I had to dig down to find them, if you can find them that might help with some of your issues.

Outdoor is a good addition. Instead of music, I have another hear in noise that doesn’t use the ai chip. I’m still comparing these two versions. Using the version with the extra chip certainly reduces background sound substantially but I think the other version is better for understanding voices. I am not a fan of intelligent focus, but I’m still testing.

I would also recommend that you learn how to clean your ears. I can be quite simple–various ways. My dependable plan is to put wax-removal drops in the ear, one at a time, lying down, and then rinse out with warm water using a small bulb syringe. It’s a nuisance, but it works and keeps the ears in the best shape to make use of the excellent ‘machinery’ that is a hearing aid!!

Personally, I find that Outdoor is my favorite setting in a lot of situations. I live in the city, in an apartment, solo. So whenever I’m ‘out’, including in the cavernous lobby of my building, I’m in a big “outdoor” space.

A question for those of you that don’t have Bluetooth connection issues.
Are you able to leave your phone in one room of the house and go to another room without disconnecting? E.g. Leave your phone on the coffee table in the living room and go to the kitchen to make a cup of tea? If so, how far can you go?
Are you able to set notification sounds off for any disconnections?

Yes. No problem with the phone connecting to my Jabra 30s from the family room and me in the kitchen. Also the master bathroom. About 30 feet or so away with two walls separating in one instance. But it seems to depend on the number of walls or what the wall is made of. I loose connection to another part of the house that’s only a little further away. In that instance there is a sheet rock wall, a glass door then a stucko wall.
The connection distance to the TV streamer and my is about the same. No issues just movng into and around the kitchen.

When it comes to distance for Bluetooth it depends on the structure of the building. I used to live in a condominium and my WiFi transmitter was in my living room. It was only a short distance to my bedroom, but I had all kind of connectivity issues. Then I had to remodel my shower stall and found out that the walls between the bedroom and the living room were concrete covered in drywall. The amount of concrete they hauled out of that shower stall was amazing. I also discovered that the concrete extended into a closet in the hallway and into my powder room which was why the WiFi signal or Bluetooth had difficulty receiving the signal from one room to another in a 1,650 sq. ft, condominium. When the buildings were built in the early 1960s, most people were receiving their TV signal through rabbit ear antennas with pieces of aluminum foil attached to each antenna. No one had thought about WiFi or Bluetooth.

Don’t misplace the clothes pins!!! I hated when the signal would be nice and clear, I’d pin the foil… and taking my hand away revealed that my hand was a major clarity contribution! ![]()

Kids today wouldn’t know how to make a phone call on a rotary dial phone.
