NHS Danalogic Hearing Aids, what are they equal too?

I have been looking closely at the Danalogic range of hearing aids, since my Step Mum has been issued them.

I do know that these Danalogic hearing aids can be linked to the Cochlear brand of Cochlear Implants, N7 and N8.

I can not work out what they are equal too? Would they be a Resound brand?

I am curious if the Danalogic Ambio S 98 is equal to the Resound Enzo 3D?

My Step Mum has the Danalogic Ambio S 77 which I have no idea what they could be.

Anyone know or have an idea?

I know the NHS Oticon Engage is equal to the Oticon Opn 2 and the NHS Phonak Nathos Nova is equal to the Phonak Bolero M70.

Depending on which version they’ll be up around the level of the Quattro or the one before with the three processors. The main improvement recently is the ability on them: which has been around for around 10 years on the private GN product.

The two versions of the Ambio (probably cheaper without the wireless aerial) are available to the NHS. It just depends which version they choose: some trusts allow both and as long as you can justify the need for the extra connectivity you get the version.

I think some trusts are phasing out the regular Ambio now as demand grows for direct audio streaming.

Also the regular Ambio maxes out at 6.3khz in frequency tuning where as the Smart is at 8khz.

There is also an obscure Ambio 6 model, functionality wise it’s identical to the regular Ambio but the frequency range maxes out at 8khz also.
