Has anyone had to enter support number in Target under Settings/Support? I am not seeing Lyric in the list of devices without it.

What support number are you referring to? Where do you enter this is target as I’ve not heard of this.

I am trying to self program a Lyric. However it does not appear in my list of Devices in Target. Target guide says that in the US a Lyric activation code must be entered under Settings/Support for Lyric option to appear. Thanks.

Oh I see, it’s a bummer they “pin lock" this, totally unacceptable, but ok so what about the programming device, the “wand” as you’ll need that as well, E396 I seen in a screenshot, could be anything tho!

Can you ask your Audiologist to give it to you, shouldn’t be a problem in most cases, I mean these are your after all.

it appears to be as much of a mystery to them as it is to me. perhaps the code was entered into their SW a long time ago and was not required again. Interestingly, Google returns a Phonak originated reference to the acrivation code, but there is no explanation on how to find it

The guide saysNote: The Lyric activation code must be entered in [Phonak Target Setup
General Support] in order to view Lyric devices (applies to US only). "
I wonder what happens if you install Target with a non-US country selection.

I could really use this information as well! I think it’s an impossible mission for an audiologist to try to program these things in a clinical setting. You MUST be able to tweak them at home or in different settings and do quick A/B comparisons to get it right. I have a USB device on the way and just want to be able to tweak these things a bit. Any help out there??

thanks Tenkan! I would love some help. I have a lyric programming wand on the way and the software downloaded. I tried searching for the guides, but it looked like the link I found was broken. Can you send some more info?

Actually I don’t have for the lyric, it’s not very common models at all, especially projects on them, just google this, I got a link straight away

The only way I could get it to work was to import into Target data for a user that already had the Lyric option and then use it as a starting point for my own fitting. It was a pain in the neck
