Clear all pairings from the connect clip. You can follow the following instructions
How to pair aids to connect clip
Oticon suggested pressing all three buttons and holding them…the light will turn white, then red. Then place the aids in the charger and turn the connect clip on and take the aids out of the charger. The connect clip will pulse yellow looking for the aids and then green when it finds them. Then they suggested to forget the pairing on the phone and re pair it through bluetooth. Once repaired they suggested to turn on the (hold large button till the light turns pink). If the remote mic works with no problem and keeps the connection it rules out the connect clip being the problems and then we could assume its an aid problem. If the aids are connected to the phone and the connect clip is the two will fight and usually the aids will win so there is a known struggle but we can start by seeing if the connect clip is working
Thanks. I found it. I found this thread searching for something else, and didn’t realize the browser took me to the middle of the thread. I guess I need a vacation…
Has anyone tried on their Intent ’s yet? In addition to the 1.30 firmware upgrade including Auracast, I noticed in the Google Play Store, the new version of the Hearlink app speaks to an Auracast broadcast location and joining functionality. I didn’t seem to see the same comment on the Oticon Companion app (but I think they are on the same version). I saw a comment in this thread that someone was waiting for the App update for Android 16 to test Auracast. I assume its already released based on the play store comments? Also, its my understanding that even without the app, you should be able to join a broadcast with the phone UI in the hearing aid quick tile on Android 16. How does it work. Or is it not working yet?
Ok. I see. I was checking on my Chromebook and it shows a release date of Sept 5, so I thought it was a more current release (but it is 1.5.2). When I check on my pixel phone, it shows the same date as your screen print. The weird part is that the Hearlink 2 app for 1.52 mentions the ability to connect to and adjust broadcast as a feature of 1.52, which was what made me think it was a new release when I looked on my Chromebook and saw the September date. I guess that was a mistake in the description. Do you have the hearing aids, and an Android 16 phone and have you updated to firmware 1.30? If so have you tried joining a broadcast with the hearing aid tile in Android 16 (based on what I understand, you shouldnt need the auracast Assistant in the Oticon Companion app, as an Auracast Assistant is built into Android 16.
Yeah genie does this, just keep trying, shut down your PC (not a reboot but a complete shut down) restart and open genie, also open the genie updater and force genie to check.
