Hello everyone! I’ve been using Phonak hearing aids since I was 3 years old. Ever since they introduced features like noise reduction, speech focus, and now Phonak Sphere with , I’ve felt a bit dissatisfied with the results. I’ve always wanted to hear sounds as they truly are — to experience things as naturally as possible, like anyone else.
The last two times I switched hearing aids were extremely stressful, especially since I developed tinnitus from acne treatment pills. I’ve started feeling it again, mainly because I’m stressed and tense from not having my hearing aids properly calibrated.
I can understand conversations, but sometimes the overall volume feels high while speech sounds low. My voice also feels a bit hollow. The hairdryer sounds unbearable, and large spaces — like factories — sound hollow to me. Since I don’t know much about sound, I’m not exactly sure how to describe what needs to be improved.
Could you please give me some advice on what I should focus on or ask to adjust in order to improve this?
