Hey Everyone I thought I would start a discussion for ADEL Technology and Perception on how it has transformed many lives, lets chat and discuss! Ill be posting peoples journey’s on putting their hearing back, starting with my journey as a musician losing my hearing and getting it back, this is me telling my story - My hearing journey with ADEL50 this is to help everyone :blue_heart:

ADEL Technology is developed by Stephen Ambrose, the original inventor of the first In Ear Monitor as well as in ear listening devices. Since then he has dedicated his life to restoring hearing loss. Brian Johnson from /DC is now on his 4th world tour since he lost his hearing due to getting it back working with Stephen. Here is his open message to Brian26

Cal! We should talk about the occlusion effect… I’d never heard of it before talking to Stephen. I didn’t realise that moulds could actually cause hearing loss through the occlusion effect! And how the ADELs prevent this from happening.

it’s applicable for almost anything that blocks the ear canal, whether it’s a mould or your finger!

when you block the ear canal sound gets trapped in the ear. So your head voice, jaw movement, footsteps or any body vibrations get pretty loud. You end up fighting that sound when bringing in external sounds. So you need to turn up the volume of hearing aids or in ear monitors. We all know loud volume causes the damage so to preserve what hearing I have I want a low inout and actual protection.

That’s what the ADELs offer. They prevent the occlusion effect while actually protecting the ear. And because they seal the ear you have low inout but a massive sound. I’ve seen people put one ADEL in and cover the opposite ear with their hand and everyone has noted that their head voice is huge on their hand side compared to the ADEL side. The technology is way ahead of the game.

Yes! While enjoying no Occlusion effect, you are also at 40 - DB of isolation. Which is unheard of, Hearing is believing x

Hey there, Yes all of these applications you have mentioned are possible x ADEL is something that can help you restore your hearing so you dont eventually have to wear your hearing aids. Lots have people that have been using ADEL have experienced this.

From what we have seen and who Stephen has worked with he has been finding that all types of hearing loss can be adressed with ADEL Technology x

I didn’t lose my hearing because of long use of ear by buds. I was told by specialists that nothing would work, hearing aids included. I was told go to therapy and quit my career. I found Stephen, purchased ADELs and my situation did a 180.

Interesting. What did your hearing loss look like before ADEL use? What is it now?

Are you just using these to listen to audio?

A year before it went it was deemed perfect for my age, which surprised me considering I’m a drummer. It went after a car crash. You know, I’m sure we could organise a zoom call here because my story is mad! I use them in every loud environment and listening to music. I have AirPods 2 but the ear fatigue I get from them is insane.

It’s probably due to my age, but I still haven’t understood if this device is used to prevent deafness problems due to excessive noise or to recover hearing as some say.

After experiencing and using the device it will be YOU that will be putting your hearing back while enjoying the ADEL Device.
