Connecting hearing aids to a samsung s 25 ultra smartphone

Hello, everyone! I have an Oticon OPN S2 PP13. I recently purchased a new Samsung S25 Ultra smartphone and wanted to connect it. I looked at it online and did it right. My devices have connected to a smartphone, and their proprietary app has also caught the connection, but the hearing aids do not play sound like in my old iPhone 13 pro. In the samsung s25 ultra, I went to the LE AUDIO section and I did not find my devices. I also looked it up in the special opportunities section, and it’s not there either. Samsung says they’re supporting some hearing aids and should contact the official company. Will someone help me with this?

This is solid information.

I had to have the Connect Clip when I had Oticon aids. With my current Phonaks, I don’t need it.

Regardless of whether the aids support protocol for your phone, those aids are way too old to be supporting . I think in oticon, it is mainly the intents where you’ll find le audio.

Your aids don’t support le audio. They may support but I don’t believe so. More than likely you need the connect clip. The Real aids do support ASHA. But you need the INTENT aids to support le audio. I have worn Oticon aids for 15 years. I now have the INTENT1 aids as my backup aids and as of this morning have Phonak Sphere as my primary aids.

Your OPN S2 are compatable which means you can stream media to your from the phone, and stream calls to the aids, but you have to use the phone’s mic to talk back, as there’s no hands-free option with ASHA.

Your Sammy does support the latest , which does have full hands-free calling, and a lot of other bluetooth improvements, but the OPN S series does not. You’d need to upgrade to the Intent.

To connect your OPN S to the phone with bluetooth you probably need to disable LE Audio 1st in the Phone settings bluetooth options.

I don’t have a Samsung, so I’m not sure, but in my android phone settings, I go to Accessibility > Hearing Devices> Add device. At this point if your HAs show as connected, you need to tap on the gear icon for the hearing aids, and enable media streaming.

I think @cvkemp Chuck can give you a better overview, as he’s a Samsung user.

To connect to a PC, or laptop/tablet, and get full hands-free calls you’’d need the ConnectClip.

Thank you I couldn’t remember if the OPNS would connect to are not. But definitely not hands free.lt is possible with the connect clip. And absolutely need the INTENT aids gor hands free and le audio.

I had an iPhone back then when I was wearing the OPNS1 aids. And couldn’t remember for sure.
